I was angry then I laughed the way one does sometimes when confronted by a farce.
An $86 show of leadership and commitment. Non executive directors of this company appear to be paid 130,000 per annum and even in a trading range of 6 – 12 c this Director is only prepared to buy 1000 shares. Maybe he will buy more and is trying to make us look silly for criticising him now before a second notice appears with further purchases beyond his Company Constitutional requirement. But for now we can only go with what we have been told. Anybody considering buying shares will probably be put off by such a lack of faith in the future of the company.
Meanwhile the Chairman points out that he is sitting on a loss on his shares which he bought for around $1.50 - $2 per share. Some shareholders paid above $4. Still no extra purchase by him since becoming Chair. The black out period must be off if 2 Directors buy shares so we look forward to the opening of the Boon vault. Maybe he will lash out in a show of strength and buy 2000 shares since he is the Chairman.
REALLY looking forward to the AGM now. Chairman Cattermole MD Price might just be the way to go.
