Hi DJ
I know Morebull felt there may have been well integrity issues with the high initial flow rate. I dont see it that way myself if there were integrity issues I feel confident they would tell us and under ASX rules they would probably have to.
The main reason I feel it ran so strong was more to do with the amount of free flowing (conventional) oil they have down there. It free flowed while drilling.
They do have gas lock issues, paraffin wax and bacteria issues but these are not uncommon and can be dealt with.
That may make it harder to flow at the rate it flowed initially I dont know.
They have also stated that the results supprised them and they were going to do more extensive testing.
So that leaves your question which is why they havnt given more info on it.
My thoughts on that are what I have felt for a while and mentioned before and that is they wont give results untill these issues are dealt with and it can be run as a stable production well.
I feel that could happen anytime as there is only so much testing you can do.
There is no point IMO to give results from a well that can vary wildly from one update to another as they try different pumps, chemicals and intervals etc.
I am relaxed about this well and feel it will flow just fine and it has also got the Sp/Dean above it that hasnt been fracced yet. But I will have to take what comes like everyone else.
Cheers Whisky
