Bots don't exist eh? Look to the left of screen, and see that HC now have an Algorithmic Trading Forum. Any ideas what this may be about or for? Please advise.
IMHO gold and silver shares are manipulated, as are the metals themselves.
GATA (google them for more info) have been documenting this for years.

After reading Jim Sinclair's article, look at the current Kitco live gold price, and note that at 3 AM New York time, gold gets hit again. This happens very often.
