Yes an interesting offer so far up above the trading level and capping sentiment so why is it sitting there? 20+M shares is a rather obvious parcel not very subtle shall we say. It could be there to temp a buyer looking to make a higher offer so we cannot make too many assumptions.

It will be interesting to see if the conditions can be agreed on. The company will have a delicate balance between Zijin and the other shareholders to operate within. You can bet they will do the right thing, after spending some time with them I firmly believe they are on the ball and sincere. They will therefore do the best they can under the circumstances.

The best outcome will be sought with all their ability and energy. I believe the optimum outcome would be for a partial takeover to play out and for Zijin to throw their considerable might and expertize behind the company. This would be a win win for all IMO, given where we find ourselves here. That is unless a higher bid comes along.
