Who cares how many schools there exists within islam. All these schools have one thing in common and that is a belief in the infallibility of the Qu'ran and the life of Mohammad in matters of religious Doctrine. There is only one Islamic sect that denies the infallibility of the Hadith and that is a small sect called the Submitters. http://www.submission.org/home.html

So as the life of Mohammad is to be taken as a form of infalliable doctrine, then it is clear by what is known of his actions that militant islam did not start 600 years after the birth of Islam but is Islam itself. It was Mohammad himself that imposed the first tax on the people of the Book (jews and Christians) and it was also Mohammad that massacred Jews in Mecca ane Medina beause God 'asked' him to purify the Holy land.

I ask you in future to use your own mind, and not to just believe everything you read. Islam is political it began as a politcal movement based on religious ideology and will remain so until its end.

I am not assenting to a belief on the inherent goodness of Islam rather i am only exposing its truth, be it good or bad.
