Gougoodthing, I have been following this debacle and I am still on your side of the matter. Perhaps because I have only been a holder for a few years, but the last couple of months has been the first time there has been any excitement around this stock for me.
I also believe that this boardroom fiasco is weighing on what should be a buoyant period for the SP. In fact, it seems possible that the placement may have been caused by the coup. It seems likely that the placement has nipped a SP rally in the bud. If CP acquires through the back door what he would have had to get on market, then we SHs have been royally shafted. We will then need to decide whether to blame the board for acting defensively, or the dissidents for forcing the board's hand.
