Beautifully expressed as always, Rosy...you are one articulate and incisive dude (or dudette)...please promise me that you won't leave this forum until we're all multi-millionaires off AKK (the same goes for Burntgamber btw - your posts, like Rosy's, always make my day).
And a bit of a personal rant if I may, since I'm tapping away on the old keyboard...I think it's high time that we recognised that there are at least two quite distinct groups of posters on this forum...broadly speaking, they are long-termers and traders.
I don't personally have the time or inclination to trade, so I'm just happy to have the chance to make a long-term bet on my Hart-Cottee "dream-team" but I don't give a rat's what the SP does in the short-term. It really makes no difference to the long term fundamentals and prospects as I perceive them.
So I would ask all "non-traders, please let's lose this sense of outrage that somebody would dare trade in a stock just to take profit in the short term? Especially at Easter...for Christ's sake, let's acknowledge that trading stocks, any stocks (even 3c stocks), is a legitimate way to make money?
We're all in the market for different reasons, end of story.
