escape to the country

its a pommy show, on ch 7/2...been watching the series...
I dont like those pommy homes, they may be 2 story, but pokey little rooms everywhere, low ceilings....more like a rabbit warren to me...
I dislike the old cottage style doors and interiors...
its like going backwards 50 + years...
and apparently they dont dig the outdoor entertaining areas, just put a couple of chairs outside on the grass...
no pools, patios etc
they are not big on gardens, but miles of lawn mowing and hedges..
its worth a watch to see what these funny aliens prefer...
do they live on another planet ??
they convert the stables, then dissect the big house and land, with a couple of acres, and they pay around $900,000 for them
tonights couple work in london, and are happy to travel 2 hours to work each day, on those funny little country roads

they are very different to our style...
btw, I see all those property shows are commencing again...the block, the makeovers etc...
they should fire up the bears temp, again, as in the past...
geez, dont they realise, we are heading for armegeddon...
