new parliament for puntland to open 15/04, page-3

Puntland is a semi-autonomous state with it's own government. The 15/4/12 date is for the opening of a new Parliament House. They have been very keen to have this place built by the 15th. This may be because they are proclaiming the new Constitution and wish to do so in an appropriate venue. Prior to this Government meetings have been held in random venues barely capable of holding everyone. It would be nice if it coincided with a nation-changing oil announcement but I have been burnt too many times by dates that have come and gone. We know it will happen. We just have to wait.
Some of us have been waiting a long time and IMO patience will be rewarded.
