Jim, I think you miss the essence of TA & charting. Prior to any FA or news being released an accurate reading of the charts will show that build up. So in fact the TA and charts are not only usefull for minutes & hours. But more so for days and weeks. Long term charting is also for months and years. Time & time again I have read where the FA is so great the SP will be at $1.00 only to see the gap I said would close at a lower price closing.

It's nice you like FA. But unless you know TA and charting your comments concerning it are at most, ill informed. Wait for the confirmation. Either the fib holds and we have a double bottom or it doesn't giving us a drop in price. If your strategy is to hope and pray an announcement may raise the price. Good on you. My strategy, and alot of other short term traders is to wait for confirmation to take a position. Nothing more, nothing less. And it's served me very, very well. Year after year.
