The description indicates the problem was caused by a twist off and not shearing of the pipe. In normal circumstances it would take no more than a 2 days to pull out, check the damage, run back in and attempt to rotate onto the fish. After that, operations depend on regaining circulation, rotation and reciprocation. Should be alright.

If the string is sheared then they will have to run in with an overshot or spear to recover the fish. Again, in normal circumstances this should take a few days max.

For us, add the India factor. Definitely not worth panic or selling out. Success is so close. All IMO.
