I can help, was just about top post anyway. The ops are AEBOs, pretty garden variety code for an oppie, stick an O on the end! Lol!
They have a high strike @ 75 cents but long life as well over a year to run. They have crept up but it only takes a couple of people wanting in or out of a thinly traded oppie to swing it either way. Im not getting excited about them as they only traded 7 or 8 thousand dollars worth today. The heads (shares) were up 5.3 percent today by my calcs, which I reckon was good as the ASX was down Im pretty sure.

Personally Im hoping the speculators stay away from AEB for a while yet. I would rather see sustained growth in the S.P than the wild swing that come with speculators chasing ST profits and pump and dumps.

A broker friend said to me one thing that may (in a small way) in the future hold back SP growth here( and it will definately in the minds of speculators) is liquidity. He said either the directors had too much stock off market or there was not enough stock on market. I understood him at the time, will get him to re explain it to me and post what he said. There was a solution but it slips the mind ATM. Anyway that was just his opinion, but there is very little tradable stock thats for sure so as long as there is good news it should drive it higher. Some investors like stocks with more available paper so if they want to get out they know they can.

Anyway cant complain about the direction of the SP and I hope it creeps gradually up until the commissioning of Nowra. All looking ok at the moment.
