I've been hoping on a Monday announcement that the Stena Tay is on site and Sotto has been spudded.

Followed by $2.50 at 3.52pm and a wine frenzy for me thanks to Folder and Analystnot !!

7kph and 700 miles equates to 6 and a half days, so assuming that the ST left dock at 9am on the 19th then it should be on site by end of play on Monday the 25th (Mauri time) and I presume the drill bit will hit the sea bed within 12 hours of that. This would make a Tues announcement tight but possible.

So it looks like my only hope for a Monday announcement is a strong tail wind or the hope that Butherano got his kph and knots mixed up. Somehow I don't think he has, as I recall a HDR statement that referred to the ST taking a week to get to the Las Palmas.
