A fine question Luxo and I was hoping for a reply from BB on it.

I think it is quite a complex issue and depends if you are asking how it will influence AEB or what it will do to our ST share price. These can be two different thing, reality and perception.

I think a couple of the state governements are talking about scaling back funds for renuables(stupid IMO). This may have/will put a negative spin on this emerging sector and these business opportunities here in Australia. If AEB will be unfarly including in this perception is yet to be seen. The debate may draw attention to the fact that carbon capture is a real presssing environmental and economic concern and actually help us. But I think these state governments miopic ST thinking is shameful.

Regardless of the complex matrix of price influences I can only see the SP and future of AEB going one way and thats up!
The opening of Nowra will be a major milestone and hopefully we get quite a bit of attention for it and get broad support from all sides in government. This is as much of a leading business innovation as it is a green innovation. It deserves support from governments on both fronts, but I believe it stacks up so well financially it will succeed regardless.
