icon apartments - port macquarie, page-12

I went to the auction of the Icon apartment on the 22nd of March; 5 properties went to auction, there was not a single bid on any of them. What a waste of time and money. Supposedly there's some interest but the interested buyer wasn't "able to compete at auction" as they didn't have finance in place. I spoke with one of the real estate agents afterwards and he expected a price to be put on the apartment within the next couple of days or so and promised to ring me to let me know.

I spoke with the agent today and was informed that there is to be a meeting of "the investment group" next week and they expect to receive instructions following that meeting. He's promised to let me know by Wednesday if there is any news. We're flying out to the USA and UK on Thursday for 8 weeks so hope to hear something before then. I've asked for an email to be sent if after Wednesday.

Sorry I can't be more definitive than that as it's very unusual to take so long to put a price on a property. It makes a person wonder why....
