Hi,just got home, tired after 2 days in Jakarta,Here's some thoughts and observations.I am going to be circumspect in what I say and I am not going to reveal specifics as to whom my sources are, however I can say without hesitation that the potential of their ground is enormous,3 blocks adjacent to them have yielded up a mix of conventional gas,oil and very large gas saturated coal beds with high quality reservoirs of methane.IMHO the real story and real value here is going to be CBM,I guess that's what has attracted the likes of Santos,DTE and Talisman Energy to the area. The closest comparison I was told would be the Powder River Basin in America except the reservoir conditions in the South Sumatra Basin are far superior to Powder River on a number of metrics.... eg coal thickness, coal depth and rank, gas content and gas saturation.
IMHO QPN even at 1c is a gift and after what I learned in Jakarta yesterday and last night I'll be inclined to increase my position size come Monday morning.
