I reckon we need a paradigm shift re coal to gas power generation and confidence in the creation of gas infrastructure.
Any economies of scale will lead to cheaper costs as well. BPT needs to extract this gas a best practice costs. The USA has developed new extraction techniques and they are exporting gas after all internal supply.
I suppose this is all cart before horse stuff as the number one thing at the moment is to get rid of Gillard. Then some confidence will re appear.
