I apologise if I have completely misunderstood the graphs but it seems like there is a correlation between the investment banks and the price. As they sell the price drops.

However, there was a reverse correlation for the retail holders.

I assume this shows control by the investment banks but what's left me a little confused is the correlation completely switches at the end of the graph when the investment banks begin to accumulate but the price continues down.

Does this indicate a larger than expected short position or is there some way to manipulate further?

Ultimately I'm wondering if the short positions have gone too far and we could be looking at a mini Gamestop situation as the amount of traded shares is less than the shorts.
