Far more likely IMO it is buyers remorse - when you make a major purchase, like a house or a boat or a business, and then the next day think "Why did I do that? Is it what I really want?" Well, it's too bad, there's no ten day cooling off period here. Of course it was the younger people who voted to stay. They can't remember what freedom was like. They are so used to being spoonfed what they can and can't do, being treated like incompetent idiots incapable of making their own decisions, that they would be frightened of having to stand on their own two feet. The older generation can remember what it was like to be able to go and buy a leek and have a choice in the matter, rather than a bureaucrat in Brussels telling you how big or how small it could be, what % needs to be white, mustn't have any dirt in it and so on. Or "Here is a migrant. They can't speak English. You must give them a job or welfare payments. You are part of Europe, and you have no option. If you don't take this migrant, you will be fined E250,000, for them and every other migrant you refuse."
