Lappy, you appear to have gone full Chicken Little on this issue.
Grab a 10 year chart of GBP/USD. You will see the media hype is out of proportion to the events. The GBP has been flirting with record lows for months.
The markets will be volatile as the winners and losers are sorted, however ask yourself why a multi-year process (which technically hasn't happened yet) should cause sudden changes in value of markets. Don't believe the hype.
Humans are smart. Crowds are dumb and easily panicked.
