Based on Gaza Ministry of Health (GHM) past record, I trust them - there could be some small-ish error in their reporting but, for the most part, it's OK.

In the past, during other confilcts with Israel, their numbers were pretty much in line with those reported by the UN bodies and.....wait for it.....the ISRAELIS themselves.

Now, let us assume that GHM figures are far off - say 50%. Just for the sake of argument (and to make you satisfied).

You would still end up with ~7,500 children killed, that's just children, not including women of all ages.

Let's do the same with figures of little kids-amputees. You'd still end up with many hundreds of them.

Further, follow that pattern - just halve whatever GHM is reporting - for all victims.

See with how many thousand of people - maimed, mentally broken, mentally ill, destroyed families, orphaned children, broken dreams and so on - you would end up with. Are you following me?

Apply this to people burried in the rubble - who died very slow death of sustained injuries, thirst and starvation - imagine small kids trapped among rubble and dying slowly in pain and cold, terrified and lonely without their parents / grandparents / siblings, not fully grasping what's happening.

In our, so called, 'civilized' and 'advanced' Western world, in Australia, whenever there is some serious car accident involving several kids who perish, what happens afterwards in their schools? Mates of these dead kids undergo councelling - we are so worried about their mental well-being. We treat these kids with so much care.

How does that compare with those not-exactly-white little kids dying slow and painful death in the rubble over 4-5-6 days?

The point I'm trying to get across to you is this:
If you take those cut-in-half numbers, it is still FAR TOO MUCH - Israel's response, is so disproportionate, vengeful, barbaric and so unhuman-like.

How can one explain this lack of empathy, lack of respect for human life perpetrated by people who have a RELIGION and GOD?

Aren't they supposed to respect LIFE and other human beings?

Don't they have some commandments from their god that they are expected to follow, you know? moral bearing/compass ????

You see that?
That shouldn't be that hard.
