Earthquake strengths are measured on a logrithmic scale, i.e. a 7.0 quake is 10x more powerful than a 6.0 quake and 100x times more powerful than a 5.0 quake, etc. 5.6 quakes are very common in the world and usually don't result in loss of life or damage in areas with proper infrastructure. The Japanese have 5.x quakes as wake up calls haha. Usually quakes become noteable when they're >7.x.

Chile had a 6.8 quake a couple months ago and it didn't have an impact on the share price so i doubt a 5.x quake will have any impact.
