Received an email from Carl Zeiss Meditec (yes, I'm now a neurosurgeon at The Epworth) begging the question "Want to find out more about using confocal endomicroscopy (CEM) in the OR?" and offering me a white paper on the subject. They refer to their 'technology partner'and Gen 1 and Gen 2. The PDF is attached for the readers.
Along with a rumour, I'm damn sure CZM wouldn't be making these noises if they didn't have the CE Mark in the bag. Some of the content of the article also strikes me as copy developed for their CE Mark and FDA applications.
I suspect, as long as the Board and Chair of OIL don't completely FIU then we're going to see the sort of action we've been holding out to see for many, many years. To quote Mike Coupe, the Sainsbury's CEO'we're in the money".
