I pity you Trump worshipper for feeling the need to keep you head buried in the sand.
Yes they have been chasing Trump for years on this but Trump using his usual tactic of avoidance to run out the clock repeatedly tried to use the courts to block investigators from getting hold of his financial records. After losing in the courts Trump appealed again and again to higher court right up to the supreme court who threw out the appeal and ordered the Trump Org to hand over all financial documents
That was last year that investigators final got the financial documents, just months later Trump org and the CFO where indicted on fraud charges. LOL they where keeping two sets of books, one showing what was paid to people under the table.
Also while Trump was president it was difficult to investigate him let alone indict him but that has all changed, now more and more evidence is coming out and the walls are closing in
