Think 10 year ahead of everybody else..R&D heaps. then go for your gut feel. Risk equals rewards so always measure that risk.
Need money first ... I wouldn't use bank loan for small caps. But any 8cent small cap can join ASX 300 in two years like Lake did, but all factors need to line up.Not an easy prediction.
Maybe put a bit of your overtime money for a small cap. Think long term always. After 12 months CGT reduces to half.
