Interesting question perhaps?
Listening to the new SA "Premier Elect" victory speech last night he made specific mention of the need to support small business.
- perhaps some of our SA shareholders might like to remind the government that expediting development of the shovel-ready Hillside mine will boost both SA employment figures and the many new small to medium businesses that will be needed to support it.
- my understanding of the Australian multiplier effect for mining is that at least an additional 800 SA jobs will be created that support the mine either directly or indirectly.
- then of course the mine will generate 400 on site jobs for possibly 30+ years.
The reaction of the Green parties may well be very positive to Hillside.
- isn't Copper one of the "green materials" that are essential to help us address climate change?
