There is nothing new and market moving in your above links.

If anything it may be the opposite due to reduced capital costs of other energy and the large capital expenditure and ongoing costs with wave energy.

get some numbers out of CCE so shareholders know where they stand in KW cost curve as they stand today . If they can't supply them they are a research venture not a business.

Why - well if countries choose to export hydrogen in liquid or other forms then with massive surface area in Australia and massive wind resource at know costs why go and risk wave when the data shows it isn't becoming as cheap or as efficient as quickly as existing generation.

Different in countries with no usable land area or wind resource.

Singapore using Aussie solar farm and batteries to then export by cable - wow . Why would they have wave generation within their national waters ? or nearby leading to shorter cable .

With oil stocks it has always been a key thing to standardise the product and compare all costings in a standardized cost of production , reserves etc etc. Apply the same to compare various energy production and get CCE to tell you where on the cost curve they would be . Then work out what circumstances that is economical and then risk weight that just like they do with oil in war torn countries to try and compare resulting energy.
