Vendor you seem to believe the price has gone up because of the chart. To some extent that might be correct- traders jumping in on support providing a bounce.
More importantly the price rose because of the expected news coupled with the fundamentals. If the market expected a weak result, 3.8 would have failed before we even saw the news.
Fundamentals and news create the buying and selling that forms the chart- not the other way around.
The fundamentals will shape the chart along with outside influences like market sentiment.
That is why I look at fundamentals first, then use the chart if I want to time trades.
Others don't have confidence in the fundamentals or don't want to invest the time to understand them so rely on charts alone. I don't know where you fit.
