The merits of technical analysis are arguable...

I used to be a firm believer in TA and was always seeking the leading indicators that would give me advance notice of share price action. I owned Metastock, and a few other charting programes.

I used lots of indicators etc and eventually came to the conclusion that it was largely a waste of time. TA was not nearly as worthwhile as research into the company's financial state.

I still use charts. They are great for timing entries and exits, locating support and resistance, determining trends and examining past share prices etc. But they aren't much good for anything else.

But hey, that's just me. To each their own and for those that make good steady profits from TA, good on you!

As for ABM, following the two very good recent announcements, it looks like we may be in for a turnaround and some overdue share price appreciation. This has nothing to do with the share price falling to 3.8c, finding support, and springing upwards. It is all to do with the announcements.

I'm looking forward to the next couple of years with ABM...
