I doubt that Myer Online will be the gold mine that investors...

I doubt that Myer Online will be the gold mine that investors expect. Last week I bought a handheld stick vacuum cleaner. I checked out the Myer site first and found what I was looking for listed at $204. Then I went to eBay and being an eBay Plus member found the exact same item for $99 from Oz Plaza after applying a free voucher. Free delivery in both cases. I note that Myer have now reduced their price to $159, but the model shown is not the latest (as evidenced by the lack of a recharging cradle). I was expecting better from MYR, given that it was their EOFY sale. Recently, I bought a wide screen Android TV. Once again, I went to the MYR site first, but while they had Smart TVs they didn't seem to have any Android TVs. (There is an important difference.) Looking at the ProductReview website I see that Myer Online have scored 1.9 out of five from 1,616 reviews. Many consumers use such review sites before buying an item. I never buy anything without reading what others have to say. But MYR can't be all bad. I did buy a handheld mixer earlier in the year that was a good price and arrived quickly.
