it's not a load of crap, even NASA has openly discussed our Sun's output cycle which includes periods known as "solar minimums" and "solar maximums". Like all natural systems, our sun also has its own rhythms, and this is well documented, though it is never acknowledged by the climate change crowd, who would have us believe that it is all man-made.
I believe that Liberty2K may be referring to a solar minimum in their post.
If this was to occur and coincide with a period of fossil fuel supply disruption/high prices, then it could indeed have major consequences.
