I don't understand why so many posters have decided that Technical Grade spodumene is required for Battery Grade Lithium Chemicals.
Whats the point in referring to a decade old publication that makes no reference to Battery Grade spodumene, because it wasn't a thing then and it's not really a thing now.
To label it such and arbitrarily shift the Fe2O3 parameters based on the speculative play of the day completely ignores the way Fe2O3 is handled in the conversion process.
There are very good reasons why Technical Grade is required for the ceramics industry but conflating those reasons into arguments that BG Chemicals cannot be processed from Chemical Grade spodumene despite meeting Battery makers' specifications is absurd.
