"Anybody knows which companies will be going X dividend tomorrow for IG to show 23 points dividebd adjustment?"
ASX 200 companies going ex-div tomorrow:
It is also true, as you said further down the thread (and as I pointed out yesterday) at precisely 4:00 pm Sydney time each day, IG drop the ASX 200 quote by the advertised amount, corresponding to dividends paid the following day.
In the present example, at 4:00pm on the dot today, IG dropped their ASX 200 buy/sell quotes as follows:
SELL from 7259.3 to 7235.4 (a drop of 23.9)
BUY from 7260.3 to 7237.4 (a drop of 22.9)
using this opportunity to also bump the after-hours bid/ask spread from 1 pt to 2 pts.
My experience is that IG do this quite reliably.
(PS.as I also mentioned yesterday, I do similar calculations as IG for the adjustment, I get close, but not exact. It would be good if IG published a table as above so we all know whats going on. For instance, PPT announce their ex-div date as 7/9, commsec -who get their data from morningstar - say 7/9, but the ASX website say 8/9. I'm certain that S&P do similar calculations and Index adjustments, but I haven't been able to find the data))
