Not at all. I see it as the demise of the mentality of the workers struggle against the capitalists. It will free the workers.
Capitalism will provide a worker utopia where there is abundant supply of "worker" needs. Workers will be free to follow their hearts desire free of the need to work to provide the necessities to sustain life.
I did Karl Marx at uni and I could never understand the struggle of the worker and the need to overthrow the bourgeoisie!!
As if the workers could better provide their own needs by overthrowing the people who were providing them their needs!! Seems to me wherever socialism succeeded it only succeeded in failing. Either way money and power ended up in the hands of the ruling class. Stalin and Lenin better than Steve Jobs and Gates??? Really??? My parents had the privilege of living under Soviet rule during WW2 and it ended by the genocide of most members of the families of my mother and father.
I shudder to think what a mess Australia would be in if the power of production and wages was in the hands of thuggees like the CFMEU.
IMHO the smarter the worker the less need for conflict between labor and employer and the more likely a better outcome. Seems to me Capitalism is evolving while the left is still struggling with the catch cry of overthrow the capitalist. Over throw the capitalist to what end? Is the left going to provide and better conditions than capitalism? If Russia is any indicator it is a sure road to starvation and poverty because the country will be run by morons. Bit like a dog chasing a car. If it catches it what is it going to do with it. It certainly can't drive it.
I can see the seeds of a better world. Might be more than 20 years. It will never happen under any government or system bent on destroying capitalism..
