Where does it say a company has too keep on workers and lose money.
Seems to me the Steel Workers Union "negotiated" pay levels which were unrealistically/unsustainably high and the company cut and ran.
Cheaper to start a factory elsewhere where workers are prepared to work for their pay!!
Bet the factory in Thailand will be twice as productive as the one in Kansas and at a fraction of the cost.
Same is happening here with XXXX. The "workers" are getting more money than doctors - inconceivable. The Union has negotiated pay levels where it is cheaper for a company to close down and relocate. Greedy workers and the company is blamed for seeking profits.
