Hi Brent, the comparisons are valid, just not right now...maybe in four or five years time, circa 2014-2015. Cochlear's results this year were $700 million revenue (just under), $130 million NPAT.

One billion RTFS at $1.00 a pop to UNI, go figure. That's just RTFS sales to Sanofi and doesn't take into account other pharma deals currently under negotiation, or other Unilife product lines. I think it's fair to say $3.65 is just the start, but a good one to be going on with!

But who knows what the company will like in 4 years time?
Only one guy and he ain't telling! But I DO think it's fair to say, he's got a big vision going forward, always has had, always will have. That's why we are where we are today, and not on the scrap heap of failed bio-tech wannabes, like so many others.

So, while some of us have been singing the praises for the past couple of years, and given that Cochlear didn't really take off until it was around $2.00-$2.50, I believe we will, in time, look back and say current prices were/are still cheap and represent a terrific entry-level opportunity for those with a longer term horizon.
