FYI. I held options in a Company about 5 years ago that were going to expire worthless. Like NKP, this Company needed the money. They were successful in having the listed options re-issued to the current holders for the payment of $0.005 an option [This covered the cost of the reissuing)and the date was extended by 9 months. Relisted as xxxOA.
So it can be done.
