Agreed. Having a target is good. But must be flexible to any changes. Most 17 year olds wouldnt have 2 cents to rub together so he is already way ahead of the curve.
Even the best investors lose money sometimes. But its important not to make decisions based on past trades as no 2 company are ever the same. Learn from mistakes but dont be guided by them.
