According to BMI, lithium price increases in China in Q4 has confirmed the uptrend, but stating increases ex-China will lag by 3 to 6 months. Logic would suggest that 3 to 6 month period would be last chance for battery and vehicle OEM's to sneak in and secure whatever supply is available. That being the case, it's likely the sector will see a lot of activity in the form of offtakes, JV's, takeovers, etc in the near term.
