re: $1.00 woosh - new high close Although a holder and great believer in ACL, the figures supertramp quoted aren't quite correct.

The total Herapin market (not synthetic) is expected to be $4 billion by 2008, & is presently worth about $3 billion pa.

Most of this market is low weight molecular herapin & Lovenox has most of this market. Arixtra is a synthetic version herapin and is only starting to gain momentum in this market & should have approval for all the indications that Lovenox has by the end of next year. (presently has 2 out of 4).

Arixtra costs about 20% more than Lovenox but only needs 1 dose per day cf 2 for Lovenox so is effectively cheaper. Arixtra is also safer & more effective.

ACL has developed a generic version of Arixtra & hopes to get a good percentage of this market (not the total).
Hopefully synthetic herapin will have the lions share of the total market by 2008 & if that happens your figures could be correct.
