The 1M bid has the effect of:
1) creating impatience and queue jumping among those wanting to purchase today
2) A reaction, "what's this ... maybe I should hang on. There might be something to this company."
3) Tightening up the share register.
4) Offering an out to sellers that may have bought in during the recent run to 10.5 cents. Based on similar bids, if not filled today, is likely to be withdrawn overnight.
