Contact Uranium Ltd is an Australian based uranium company with a portfolio of
outstanding uranium projects in Peru and Kyrgyzstan with total JORC resources of 10.9 million lbs of Inferred and Indicated U3O8.
The company’s largest project is the Corachapi Uranium deposit in Peru, where the project has a JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 9.2 million lbs of U3O8.
The Corachapi Uranium deposit is shallow with a high grade core of 0.33% U3O8.
Contact Uranium has commenced a diamond drilling program to enhance and extend the known resource at the deposit.
The company has also acquired 100% of an advanced project with an initial JORC resource of 1.71 million pounds of Inferred and Indicated uranium at Kamushanovskoe in Kyrgyzstan.
In addition to these projects Contact has owns or is earning 100% of four other highly prospective uranium exploration assets in Peru and Kyrgyzstan that it plans to aggressively explore to target further uranium deposits.
In total the Company’s uranium licenses cover nearly 2500km².
