Consolidation is often used by penny stocks to decrease the register and increase the price to support an often endless cycle of capital raisings.
The purported justification is often cited as an excess of shares - that is a clear falacy when consider many established companies with registers in the billions. Also often cited that instos have a lower price cap preventing them from taking positions. Again a falacy since presumes a price consolidation would result in inevstments by those firms - anecdotal evidence rarely shows any buy in, and the argument usually touted by directors as a reason. Complete bollocks. I find it astounding that any poster would suggest a consolidation and wouldn't matter which handle the poster used, I would call that a manipulative posting ploy. With regards to Obj, the volumes are tiny and the order book sparse. A consolidation would worsen that. There is no substantial current stable or predictive income flow, so a consolidation would be sold into obviously. And there are absolutely no signs that a price 10x higher would enable instos to take positions is also ridiculous since if they wanted positions they could do so now - any rules are set within the institution and often different by trader or account manager since not all are equally competent - giving someone a hat with the word 'expert' inscribed does not make one an expert -just someone with a cool hat.
If obj even hinted at a consolidation or cr, even with a loss I would be out in a flash, however place the probability of either as extremely low based on the evidence to date as well as experience with similar priced companies that have done so. To reiterate, it is astounding such a thread title appeared and if anything shows the poster to either really have no concept of small cap pricing and survival, or instead trying to manipulate sentiments. But if the poster is serious, then makes me wonder why invested at all since is implying the company has no future by implying directors have no other choice but do so to secure future income via raisings.
