Agreed @WoosterBrewster, but the LVT AI offering has the potential to be massive and is only just getting started...
The future of LiveTiles is building towards “an intelligent workplace platform” through new products and alliance partners. They are closely working with Microsoft to shape this vision. The aim is to bring all products and applications together through the LiveTiles intranet – it will be the central source of all tools and processes and is “central and omnipresent”.
Interestingly, Peter said that the intranet is simply getting the foot in the door from there they can do so much more. Their focus at the moment is collecting as much information as they can – they are capturing every information transaction that occurs through their products, i.e. clicks on a page, time of day etc. In the long run, this allows them to take advantage of people data through deep learning to provide support for employees.
For example, if you work in sales and you use CRM alongside a host of other tools all of which are accessed through the LVT intranet, LiveTiles can then track this data. LVT AI could then provide suggestions and prompts to that user to help them do their job, for example: “you’ve just hit X number of sales in this industry, the last time you reached this threshold you did Y”.
I’m increasingly considering LiveTiles as an AI company, even though the market currently would not agree with me.
T.E.P.
