Fact of the matter is, big end of town now runs BRN, NOT small money. Anybody who gets scared of some downramping certainly doesn't have the holdings to do any damage up or down... simple as that
The so-called 'big end' of town is the dismally performing tech fund (TEK) and Regal Assets (RF1) which is a retail hedge fund with a short term trading strategy.
Most the recent trading via Commsec and Openmarket which are exclusively retail brokers favoured by mums and dads. Much of the trading activity seems to be coming from China (the primary users of Openmarket).
