In paragraphs 7 and 8, the interviewees say that neuromorphic computing has possible commercial application in pattern recognition, including low power at the edge.
The emphasis is on the word possible. Pattern recognition is a well studied niche application for neuromorphic processors. That is nothing like widespread general usage. Anybody who expects a rapid roll-out and widespread uptake of AKIDA is likely to be extremely disappointed. eg TrueNorth and Loihi are still (comparatively) very small scale research projects after years of research.This is despite both IBM and Intel having orders of magnitude more resources than BRN.
