Just in case anyone is not is 100% clear, Link (as a share registry, for EGO), and CommSec (as a broker) represent two very different functions for S/Hs...
My father has traded (via Commsec) for decades, and had no idea a registry even existed, and is very different to a broker, and wondered why he couldn't 'vote online' via CommSec...
One represents one set S/H functions, the other does another set, and the 2 shall never cross, probably for good governance at a macro-level I suspect...
No offence intended, I posted the links and info just an FYI for those that 'want' to vote and have not received 'physical' paperwork, but are passionate about voting in this instance...
