marbs, the ASX list only covers naked shorts. We simply don't know the extent of covered shorting because of dodgy regulations and failure of disclosure. The volumes could be large they could be small. The ASX keeps us in the dark. Apparently this information is known at the top end of town. You can subscribe to some service that provides it.

You'd have to reckon that any stocks that run up very quickly will be shorted.
