re: how do you put a price on this. syringe, why do you go on and on!
Drug trials take years to perform, this is obviously the first biotech you have been involved in (negatively I must say) as you have no idea of the workings of drug trials, let alone one so invasive.
Your ignorance does not deserve an answer.
there are many here who are just long term holders of VCR and hope that the trials succeed. If it were not for these holders, where would our foundling biotech research companies be today.
Take a look at MBP - things looked quite bad for them many years ago, when in their trial infancy, but being the nature of that particular trial, it was not a do or die trial, however one of eliminating or evaluating possible side effects. On Friday this week, I believe the long term holders of MBP will or wont be rewarded, as the trial results which lasted 7 years or more will be announced.
VCR has promised and continues to promise commercialisation in the next year or so, but has never promised 100% success in all its implants. The sicker the implantee the more chance of a death.
Go ask for your coroners report, but you know very well, it is public record!
REad the announcements made by the company and you will see that they are very sensitive now to the families concerned who know up front, the fate that may await them when they sign up for the transplant
