As each day passes with no news the relevance of the report is becoming increasingly important.
I havent had time to research this out but there is a sofisticated Green lobby in Nam as those following PDN would know.
With the discovery of U3O8 in underground water and its seeping down to the market gardens, uraium has become an issue not only for mining. It has become a significant environmental issue.The Nam Health Depeartment say current levels are not a health hazard but concern has been noted.
Whether disturbing the environment by further mining would impact, I dont know. Its seems both Nam Health and the MME have has teams in the Erongo area lately.

This dimension may be well off the mark. Just attempting to put together various articles from The Namibian. It maybe a factor in the delay in the MME decision.
